Re: .NET and IE

Hello, GdPicture.NET is now completely incompatible with IE and ActiveX architecture, since version 11 if I remember well. We are now offering an extension, DocuVieware, to offer smooth consumption of GdPicture features through any operating system and browser. Please let me know if you need further...

Re: Convert PDF to PDF/A-1b + OCR

Hi, It is possible using rasterization. Basically, create a new PDF/A-1B based on the rasterized page of the existing PDF (you will probably find a lot f such example into his section), then ocr the generated PDF using the OCRPages() method. Re: 32/64 bit Twain driver

Hello, Thank you for the return about our Toolkit, this is really appreciated! Unfortunately such approach requires to break the paradigm of the SDK, meaning installing operating system service or out of process application that will probably requires special privileges and should not offer the suff...

Re: Can we have more than one type of document in GDViewer?

Hello,

You can do that by converting all documents to PDF and merging them.

This can be done quite easily and quickly using the new GdPictureDocumentConverter class.

Please let us know if you need further information or assistance.

Re: Extracting an image from a pre-defined area of the PDF

Hello, I can see several option depending what you really need to achieve. 1- If you want to extract a full embedded image, drawn in a specific rectangle: - Loop to all images in the page, extracting they coordinates. Please use the GetPageImageCoordinates() method. see: http://guides.gdpicture.com/...

The OCR technology is a good approach to "recreate" such missing information. You can easily do that using GdPicture by rasterizing the PDF page to...
