Extracting PDF from Viewer

Post by sbarlow » Wed Aug 09, 2017 4:43 pm

Hello,

I have just purchased GDP 14 Ultimate and updating a large application written with version 6. I see a lot has changed. Previously I had used GdViewer1.PDFRenderPageToGdPictureImage to pull individual PDF pages from the viewer. Is this no longer possible? What is the simplest way to be able to work on a single PDF page that is being displayed in the viewer?

Thanks,
Scott

Never Mind :)
I see the philosophy has changed. Unfortunately it will cause rather extensive code changes in my application.
As described here for anyone else

As for PDF documents, use the GdPicturePDF class to load your PDF document into the GdPicturePDF object:
http://guides.gdpicture.com/content/web ... rePDF.html
Then display it in the viewer:
http://guides.gdpicture.com/content/web ... rePDF.html
The same works with images using the GdPictureImaging class.
Kind regards,
