Descreening filter?

How can I use your library to implement a descreening function with scans from newspapers and magazines?

Descreening is also known as removing the moiré patterns from scans originated from newspapers and magazines. I am currently evaluating your product and, together with having the scan being executed in its own thread, the descreening function is a major requirement for which I would immediately purchase the product. Do you think these 2 functionalities could be implemented in the near future? Thanks.

Have you tried the Despeckle filter ?
