We're planning to start using(buying) the ultimate package, and I'm evaluating the engine now, and this is one of our mayor items. We really like to be able to process multiple files over multiple thread by the ocr-engine.

We successfully implemented the version 3 of the engine. Now we have lot of test and we have to review the way we implemented it.

All should be available for public within 2 or 3 months.

We are still evaluating the software, and are planning to buy a license within some days.
What if version 8 will be finished, do we need to buy an upgrade license, or is there a free update if we buy a v7 license now?

Hello ,

Is there an update on using the latest version(v3) of Tesseract for OCR? We have quite a few customers who would be interested in OCR. They have introduced support for more languages. This now has great commercial value for our product. Hence I would urge you to use this at the earliest.
