2D / DataMatrix barcode drawing?

In this forum, one year ago, it was mentioned by the GdPicture people,
that 2D / DataMatrix barcode drawing will be implemented in the next version.

What happened to this plan?
Seems that V8 hasn't this functionality yet, still only 1D barcode writing.

Hi Eric,

We still have not implemented this feature. This requires lot of investigation for us because we have to start from scratch with the specifications.
This is still on our roadmap, but I can't give a date of release now.
