VB6 can't use GDView control

Postby rockyh » Mon Feb 18, 2008 7:41 pm

Hi,
I have installed GDViewer 3 ocx. Using Visual Basic 6, sp6, I can add it to the "Components" section. The problem is when I try to add it to the project form. ie. Select the GDViewer Icon and add it to the VB form. When I do this, a message dialog pops up with no text. It has two buttons "OK" and "Help". The "Help" button just responds with "could not find information of the selected topic".

I have tried to Uninstall GDViewer and reinstall it. This does not help.

I used to be able to use GDViewer in my VB6 projects, but something must have changed on my system and I can't figure it out.

GDViewer runs fine on my system when I run from exe's that someone else has made for me. I just cannot write my own projects with it.

Any ideas?

Hi Rocky.

Strange problem  .

Could you upload a screenshot of the error box ?

Else, have you installed the full package from the download area: http://www.gdpicture.com/download.php
