Using GdViewer without installation

I'm programing lightweight image viewer with GdViewer by C++ Builder.
and I wanna distribute the application without OCX registration.
because to register OCX needs administrator privilege.

is there something idea?

You can't use any ocx without previously registred it.

hi leiqunni, i'm leiqunni from 2009.
i got way to use ocx without regsvr32.
i hate installer. i hate uninstaller. we hate registry.
make a manifest file for side-by-side execution.

if there is anyone who want to know the way, I'll post.

Hi,

Just few warnings with this method:

- Side by side don't work on Win 2000, NT4 & ME.
- You have to copy all GdPicture dll in the same directory of the executable.
- This method don't work with access & other application supporting scripting (Corel Draw, IE...).
