unable to use the GdPicture viewer (msg "unlock first..

I always get an "unlock first...". I receive a licence key and also a version of the activeX. I installed it on my computer but at runtime, I get the message.

Any suggestions?

PS: before buying a licence key I installed a previous version with a trial key. I try to uninstall and re-install the new version but nothing changes.

Hi,

I think you are trying to unlock a GdViewer PRO component with a GdViewer std License key.

You need to use the GdViewer STD edition: http://www.gdpicture.com/download/download-gdviewer.php

Hi,

I've tested your license key and he is working without any problem.

To remove the Unlock Me message you have just to call the SetLicenseNumber() method like that:


gdviewer1.SetLicenseNumber("YOURLICENSEKEY")



Other solution:

Download the last 2.8.5 edition from this link: http://gdpicture.com/download/download-gdviewer.php

And use the LicenseKEY propertie http://gdpicture.com/references/gdviewe ... seKEY.html

To reproduce the problem:

- open the samples / vb / basic-viewer projet
- replace the key with my personnal key (2 places)
- run the project
- click on the 'Load PDF' button'
- I get the error message

Any suggestions?
