Resize Refresh issue

Postby JNewhouse » Fri Jan 04, 2008 4:57 am

Hi Loic,

Since upgrading to the version 4.50 of the GdViewer Pro control, there seems to be a lot of flicker on the control when the form is resized. this was not the case in the previous version i used.

i have the control anchored to the form so that as the form is resized (dragged wider or taller) the control increases (or decreases) in size. there seems to be an abnormal amount of flicker and repainting going on now and it's become pretty annoying.

has something changes in the last build that would cause this? is there something i can do to eliminate or reduce this?

overall, i love the control, works well (except for this new issue) and is easy to use!!

Thanks,

jean

Hi jean,

You have just to set the ViewerQualityAuto property to False.

I have the same problem Loic.

Changing ViewerQualityAuto to .f. made no difference at all. I still get excessive ficker - particularly when using ZoomOUT()

I'm using Foxpro V9 if that makes any difference

The control doesn't seem to take much notice of the VFP Lockscreen property so I've kind of run out of ideas.
