Problem installing latest ActiveX version in Delphi

Hi

When I install the latest ActiveX version of GdPictureProOCR into Delphi 2007 the two components GdViewer and Imaging don't appear on the component palette. The previous version worked fine. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Also, while I can instantiate the Imager using GdViewer := CocImaging.Create, there doesn't seem to be a way to instantiate the viewer.

Any help would be appreciated.

i had same problem in delphi 6
i finally got it working by adding the files from the windows system 32 directory where they were installed

it does work
look for ocx and tbl files in windows directory


took me a few hours to work it out

adding the files that appeared in type library list did not work

I had already added the ocx file from the Windows\system32 folder, so I added the tbl as well but still no components.

I don't actually need the components if I could instantiate the GDViewer. Do you know how to do that?

I finally figured it out and have the components back on the tool palette.
