Postby LGrimaudo » Thu May 14, 2009 8:35 pm

Hello,

we have some problem with internet explorer 8 and the gd viewer pro active x.
in fact, whenever we load a document (tiff) via javascript, we got a "Resize error : Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface" message box. but yet, the gd viewer object load the document, and works fine...

is there somebody reproducing this behavior ?

some help would be appreciated

thanks

Hi,

I will remove this alert for the next release. To fix the problem now, just set to True the SilentMode property.

Kind regards,

Loïc

Hi Laurent,

If you have any time, I would be happy if you can provide me a web page which reproduce this behavior. In all case the problem will be fixed for the next release.

Kind regards,

Hi Loïc,

your temp solution (silent mode on) works fine.
here is a link to a test site were i can reproduce the behavior : http://test.groupeisa.com/pages/faAValider.aspx
(it's a light version of our prod site for test purpose)
=> just click on the "test" button to display a popup frame with the viewer

i created a simple test site with our webusercontrol included your viewer, but i cannot reproduce this. So, i published a light version of our genuine application.

hope this can help determinate the cause. (masterpage ? popup control ?)

regards

Laurent
