Importing GdViewer in Delphi - GdViewerPro4_TLB.pas unit

Postby prighi » Thu Jul 31, 2008 10:38 am

Hello,

I'm trying GDViewer PRO to evaluate it.
I develop with Delphi 6 and Delphi 7.
When I Import the ActiveX with Import Type Library function I was shown that 3 classes TGdViewer, TGdViewerCnt and TDummy are been created, but what I get is only the interface and dispinterface implementation.
There is something wrong? Do I have to manually complete the classes implementation?
I successfully execute the demo program in VB6, but I'm not a VB programmer!

Thank you.

Hi,

I give you the exact procedure to following using Delphi 6 (should be the same using Delphi 7):

- Start Delphi
- Menu: Project / Import type library
- Button: Add
- select gdviewerpro4.TLB
- Button: install...
- Button: OK
- To the question: "Package ddclusr.bpl will be rebuilt. Continue ?" -> click Yes
- Now you should see a dialog box containing:

"The component palette has been updated as a result of rebuilding installed package delphi\bpl\ddclusr60.bpl.
The following new component(s) have been registered: GdViewerPro4_TLB.TGdViewer, GdViewerPro4_TLB.TGdViewerCnt."
- Click OK and select the ActiveX which now should include 2 new objects: GdViewer & GdViewerCnt

Let me know if you encounter a problem in any of these steps.
