displayFromString in GdViewer OCX Ver. 4.12.4

Hi, I'm currently evaluating the GdViewer OCX Ver. 4.12.4. I'm implementing the OCX in a Progress ABL environment. I have my images and pdf files stored in a database, in binary format. I can retrieve these files and create an os file, which I then load into the ocx using displayFromFile. This works fine, no problem. But, this does mean I have to do disk I/O. I would like to use the displayFromString method, but here's the catch: I can only retrieve the binary file in a base64 encoded string. The OCX cannot display the file from this encoded string. Do you foresee that the option to display from a base64 encoded string will be added to the OCX in a future release? Using the displayFromByteArray is not an option btw, as I said my environment is Progress ABL, I'm lacking the right datatype for this...

This feature is implemented in GdPciture Pro only.

The Imaging class provide a function named Decode64String().
