Authentication when using DisplayFromFile

Hello,

would it be possible to extend the "DisplayFromFile" and "DisplayFromPdf"-Methods, so that it'll be possible to open the files under a different user, f.e. some kind of service-account ? We'd like to lock the folder, where the pdf-Files are located, for windows-users, so that it only can be accessed programmaticly using the service-account.

or maybe there's already a solution to this ?

Hi,

This is not the goal of the SDK. I suggest you to have a look on the winAPI to check how to change dynamically the native user account.

I solved this by using the DisplayFromFtp methods, as these support authentication. thanks anyway...
