Hi Loic,

When I build a product that uses GdPicture Tesseract OCR Engine, what license restrictions apply ?

Should I include any license (such as Apache) or is it GNU ?

Please advise.

Hi,

First there is no restriction in term of licensing.
Tesseract OCR source code is provided under the Apache license term (not GNU). Therefore, I think including the license Apache file aside your binaries is OK. This file can be obtained in the GdPicture redistributable or from this link: http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0
