pdf document area recognition

I have a folder containing a bunch of uncategorized pdf documents. Each pdf file has a similar layout ie the last name, birth date, date of the document etc all appear in the same area of each of the documents.

I would like to be able to do the following with each of the documents in the folder:
1. recognize each area of interest of the document (ie the area where the last name or date of birth is located)
2.OCR the area (I have your OCR plug in)
3. find the record in my database matching the the info from the document and do some things if successfully matched

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Greg,

It is not possible to to that with GdPicture ActiveX. It will on GdPicture .NET 7.4 which will come with an OMR engine.
