Image with embedded ICC Profile

I need to (BlackBorder)Crop an uncompressed (400MB) Tiff image with an embedded ICC profile and save it again as an uncompressed Tiff image with embeded ICC profile

I have seem more topics here with ICC Profile problems but none that resolve in a correct image with embeded ICC profile

What would be the correct steps to
1: Open
2: Enhance
3: Save

enhance = Crop, Despecle, Rotate (Altering the original image)

Dear loic,

let me give a bit more detail about the problem, hope it will help you (and me)

I have an uncompressed image with embedded ICC profile.
if i open it in Photoshopcs4 and get fileinfo, there is a Tab "Raw data" there is says:
<photoshop:ICCProfile>SG50s9_sat3</photoshop:ICCProfile>

i open the image in GdPicture, Crop the image and save it as incompressed Tiff

when i open the cropped image in Photoshop and ask for fileinfo,
there is no info anymore about the ICC profile

even if i save the icc profile before i crop and add it again after i crop

Hi,

If the input image is CMYK tiff you can use the ICCAddProfileToFile to attach your ICC profile to the image created by GdPicture ActiveX.

For other format we have no solution.

The icc profile indeed gets writen into the tiff,
but my uncompressed tiff becomes a LZW compressed tiff.
The tiff needs to stay uncompressed.

How do i keep it uncompressed?

It is possible for you to upload your image for investigation ?

If it is too large maybe you can crop is using Photoshop

Since an uncompressed Tiff is large, i had to be creative.
i have uploaded a "small" uncompressed tiff with embedded color profile.
the tiff is packed in 3 .rar files.
i'm sure you know how to get the tiff out of the rar files

Hope tis wil lead us to the solution to the problem

i have several milion images on which i can test
i would like to test on oversized A0 documents also (500MB or larger. unable to mail to you)
