GdViewer BackGround

Postby Nanni » Mon Dec 06, 2010 10:01 pm

Hi to all

I'm using GdPicture ToolKit Pro Edition (activex) with VB6.

I need to use a Picture (bmp image) as a background of Gdviewer control and load over this picture another file.
I tried using BitBlt, but when you use zoom Gdviewer flashing.

Is there a way to set a picture (like picturebox.Picture) in GdViewer for the background?

Thanks for support

GdViewer BackGround

Hi
I have also to tried to set Gdviewer BackStyle to Transparent, but I always have refresh problems when I select a different Image.

I'm using for display image:

'Cleanup
Imaging1.CloseNativeImage
GdViewer1.CloseImage

'Get Image
ID=Imaging1.CreateImageFromFile(pathFile)
GdViewer1.ImagePosition = ImagePositionMiddleCenter
GdViewer1.SetZoomFitControl

GdViewer1.SetNativeImage ID

If the previous image was highest than the new one, I see (for a moment) Black Bar around the new image.

Any suggestion for solve this problem

Thanks
Nanni

Hi Nanni,

The best option is to create a new image with Imaging class, draw your both image on this image, then display the created image into the GdViewer object.

There is no other possible way.

Kind regards,
