When upgrading to the latest version of GDPicturePro activex, issuing the following code:

thisform.oGDVIEWER.DisplayFromFile("&cFile")

gives the following error:

OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from GdPicturePro5: Can't find DLL entry point _GDIMGPLUG_OpenFileU@4 in gdimgplug.dll..

The test machine is a Windows XP SP3 machine. My Windows 7 development box does not seem to be affected. Reverting to an earlier version of GDPicturePro (2008ish?) resolves the problem. I know this can happen with mismatched versions of the redistributables, however all of my redist files are the same version.

Hi,

You are using an old version of gdimgplug.dll.

I suggest you to make a search over your computer for this lib. Remove all lib found and just copy the one provided into the last package into system32.
