animated gif does not animate

Hi,

I am developing in vb6 with GdPicture Pro Activex.

I have a problem with animated gif's. They don't animate. In the contextmenu the options "Play Gif" and "Stop GIF Animation" are grey.

I have tried the property AnimateGIF= true without success. Not even in your distributed sample "animatedgif.vbp" with your distributed gifs.

I have tried several gifs, see attached gif example.

The picture is visible in the viewer, but is static.

I did set the AnimateGif property to true to force the animation. Without result.

GdPicture pro does support animated gifs doesn't it?

Hi Loïc,

On a form I placed a GdViewer control.
Added this code:

Call Me.GdViewer1.SetLicenseNumber("Our licensenr..............")
GdViewer1.DisplayFromFile ("C:\101.gif")
GdViewer1.AnimateGIF = True

I checked the animatedgif.exe which is supplied in your GdPicture Toolkit.
This doesn't work either!

before:

GdViewer1.DisplayFromFile ("C:\101.gif")

Hi Loïc,

We solved the problem by reïnstalling the toolkitpro. Maybe there were some leftovers from previous version, or a evaluation version?
Who knows?
